Estuve harto rato tratando de hacer funcionar Lightview Plus en IE. Cuando agregaba una Nube de Tags que utiliza flash (Cumulus), funcionaba perfecto en todos los browsers… menos en el mediocre IExplorer.

La solución fue usar una versión experimental compilada de Prototype 1.6.0.3 y Scriptaculous 1.8.1 en vez del “todo en uno” Protoculous que viene por defecto en Lightview Plus.

Pero cuando logré ésto, tuve conflictos con otro plugin, AJAX Comments WPMUified, el que también cargaba los mismos Prototype y Scriptaculous que usaba Lightview Plus, pero desde una copia en su propia carpeta. Me di cuenta al analizar el código fuente del blog y ver cuales plugins volvían a cargar las mismas librerías. Tuve que entrar a modificar el código de este plugin para evitar que las cargara, de ese modo, usaría las que carga Lightview Plus.

Como consejo, revisen el codigo fuente en busca de identificar los plugins que puedan generar los conflictos. En este caso las librerias se cargaban de esta manera:

<script type='text/javascript' src='js/prototype.js'></script>
<script type='text/javascript' src='js/scriptaculous.js?load=effects'></script>
<script type='text/javascript' src='js/lightview.js'></script>

y fue este codigo el que debia buscar y borrar en cada plugin conflictivo.

Espero les sea útil, ya que muchos tienen este problema, pero nadie daba una solución.

Les adjunto la version modificada de Lightview Plus que arregla el problema.

    Muy buenas. Si que es verdad que en IE Lightview Plus no sirve. Pero en la carpeta que pones a descargar no están los mismos archivos que aparecen en Lightview Plus. ¿Hay que quitar el original y colocar esta o hay que añadir algún archivo al original?
