Coordinar horarios disponibles de un grupo de personas

En mi Universidad todos los semestres los comenzamos con el mismo problemas: topes de horario, por lo que entre todos debemos acordar un horario en común que tope con la menor cantidad de gente posible, y siempre bajo los horarios disponibles de cada profesor.
¿Cómo buscamos horarios libres en común entre todo un curso?
De la manera mas arcaica… el profesor dibuja en la pizarra un horario y a mano alzada se pregunta, bloque por bloque, quienes tienen tope.
Otro profesor, más “innovador” dijo una vez: “Envíenme los horarios de cada uno en el formato que se les plazca a mi mail”. Fracaso total. Yo por lo menos lo habría pedido en formato iCal para ordenarme un poco…
Ahí es cuando aparecen al rescate aplicaciones muy simples pero tremendamente útiles. Es el caso de WhenIsGood.

WhenIsGood es una aplicación web que sin necesidad de registrarnos permite que un administrador genere un horario indicando sus bloques disponibles en hora y día especifico. Luego se genera un link para ser compartido a todas las personas del grupo. Éstas seleccionan sus bloques libres a partir de los generados por el administrador, agregando su nombre y comentarios adicionales. El administrador luego se encuentra con una planilla con toda la información necesaria. Los bloques libres para todos se marcan en verde, y el resto se marcan con un punto rojo por cada persona que no esté disponible a esa hora. También puede ver los horarios disponibles de cada persona en particular.

Sin duda una herramienta fundamental para organizar reuniones.
Profes, no se queden en el pasado!
