¿Como usar el mismo avatar en todos los blogs?

Gravatar significa globally recognized avatar. En otras palabras, es un sistema que nos permite usar el mismo avatar junto a nuestros comentarios en cualquier blog que disponga de este sistema (hoy en día, la gran mayoría).

Para usarlo, solo basta inscribirnos en Gravatar, o incluso podemos usar la cuenta de WordPress, ya que esta es una empresa de los mismos dueños, Automattic.

Una vez registrado, la configuración de la cuenta es súper simple. Podemos agregar los mails que queramos, de forma que cada vez que hagamos un comentario usando ese mail, el gravatar aparecerá automáticamente.

Permiten agregar cualquier imagen, de cualquier tamaño. Luego se nos dará la posibilidad de seleccionar el área que queramos usar como avatar y de clasificar el gravatar:

Rated X X rated gravatars may contain hardcore sexual imagery or extremely disturbing violence.

Rated R R rated gravatars may contain such things as harsh profanity, intense violence, nudity, or hard drug use.

Rated PG PG rated gravatars may contain rude gestures, provocatively dressed individuals, the lesser swear words, or mild violence.

Rated G A G rated gravatar is suitable for display on all websites with any audience type.
